Dress code miscommunication led to short tempers at Slim polling station, says EC

Voters being turned away from a polling station because they were wearing shorts was the result of a miscommunication, says Election Commission (EC) chairman Datuk Abdul Ghani Salleh.

"It was a miscommunication, therefore we hope the voters will come back and cast their votes," he told reporters at the SK Aminuddin Baki polling centre on Saturday.
