The 16 Bihar regiment, whose soldiers were killed in violent clashes in the Galvan Valley of eastern Ladakh on the Line of Actual Control (LAC), is now returning to Hyderabad. In his place, Bihar’s oldest regiment, 1st Bihar, is being deployed. On the condition of not publishing the name, an official said that ‘16 Bihar Regiment has completed two and a half years in Ladakh.’
वास्तविक नियंत्रण रेखा (LAC) पर पूर्वी लद्दाख की गलवान घाटी में हिंसक झड़प में जिस बिहार रेजिमेंट के जवान शहीद हुए थे वो अब हैदराबाद लौट रही है. उनकी जगह बिहार की ही सबसे पुरानी रेजिमेंट 1 बिहार की तैनाती हो रही है। नाम ना प्रकाशित करने की शर्त पर एक अधिकारी ने बताया कि ‘16 बिहार रेजीमेंट ने लद्दाख में अपने ढाई साल पूरे कर लिए हैं.’
