Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the top management of the Health Ministry was “kept in the dark” over the quarantine breach and RM1,000 compound controversy involving a Cabinet minister until last week.
He was asked about the RM1,000 compound that was issued to Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali on Aug 7 for violating his mandatory 14-day quarantine order upon returning from Turkey in July.
