ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ವೆಚ್ಚವು ಈಗಲೂ ಅಮೇರಿಕಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಶೇಕಡಾ 30-40 ರಷ್ಟು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಇದೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದೊಂದು ಷರತ್ತು ಭಾರತದಿಂದ ರಫ್ತು ಮಾಡುವ ಕಡಿಮೆ ವೆಚ್ಚದ ಜನರಿಕ್ ಔಷಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಬಂಧಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ತಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.
