This is the adorable moment a juvenile elephant cuddles with its caretaker in Surin, Thailand.
Supattra saw the baby jumbo lying down on her husband Punyahat’s legs while he was laughing and cuddling with the animal.
The couple adopted the baby elephant in 2019 and named it after their favourite Thai monsoon season "Phang Saifon".
Supattra said: "Phang Saigon is sweet and affectionate. My husband and children go out and play with her everyday. We celebrated her birthday recently, she had been with us for over a year."
The wildlife tourism industry in the country has become controversial over alleged abuse of elephants to tame them.
There are an estimated 2,000 that live in the wild in the country and around double that amount in captivity where they are in zoos, sanctuaries or private homes.
