India is facing a tremendous pressure due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown imposed thereafter.The economy has suffered an irreparable loss due to the lack of strategy.
According to CMIE, 1.89 crore salaried individuals lost their jobs since April in a pandemic-battered economy. CMIE data showed that 68 lakh daily wagers in India lost their jobs during the period and 1.49 crore took to farming.
