MLB News: Mookie Betts Nearing Long-Term Deal With Dodgers
It’s official, Mookie Betts will not be returning to Boston after a one-year hiatus in Los Angeles. The former Red Sox star and MVP talent will be staying with the Dodgers on a reported 13-year, $380 million dollar deal. Betts will no longer hit the open market this winter and will instead take the guaranteed money with the Dodgers.
Betts should be a perennial All-Star for years to come in L.A. as the Dodgers seek to end their world series drought.
