पंजाब के अमृतसर और तरनतारन में नकली शराब पीने से 21 लोगों की मौत हो गई. मामले की जांच के लिए चार सदस्यीय एसआईटी का गठन किया गया है. जान गंवाने वाले सभी लोग गरीबी रेखा के नीचे के परिवारों से ताल्लुक रखते थे.
