The annual getai performances to celebrate the Hungry Ghost Festival have gone fully virtual in Singapore this year due to crowd restrictions to curb the spread of Covid-19.
Getai performers shared how they are coping with the pandemic and said they hope new online fans drawn to the online performances will mean bigger audiences for live shows when they reopen.
