A seemingly non-aggressive Black man was arrested and swarmed by five officers at Minneapolis-Saint Paul Airport over a ticket counter dispute.
Footage from July 17 shows the initial encounter and subsequent arrest.
The dispute occurred due to man’s ticket not showing up on the airline’s system causing him some annoyance.
The situation escalated when the arresting officer - with no explanation - arrested the man, who was then surrounded by four other members of the police and escorted from the terminal.
The filmer explained: "The man was not aggressive, threatening, or harmful in any way, simply frustrated.
"The situation is then escalated by police as the man is aggressively swarmed by five officers and put under arrest for no logical reason.
"During the arrest, the innocent man never resists and remains calm.
"The mood for onlookers was frightening as the police presence grew, and brought with it a reminder of what happened to George Floyd and many other innocent peoples due to systemic racism."
They later added: "I got the airport and saw there were police at the door, which I thought was odd.
"I got to the desk and the African-American gentleman starts telling me he doesn’t understand why the clerk isn’t accepting his ticket.
"He seems more confused/mildly annoyed than anything else.
"Then the police walked up and I started filming, I don’t know what happened after he was arrested."
