ஊட்டி: கேக்கை வெட்டி எடுப்பதை போல நிலப்பகுதி மிதந்து செல்லும் காட்சி திகில் ஏற்படுத்துகிறது. நீலகிரி மாவட்டத்தின் எமரால்டு பகுதியில்தான் இப்படி ஒரு நிலச் சரிவு இன்று ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது.
Landslide occurred yesterday in the Emerald area of the Nilgiris district. Meanwhile 335 mm rain lashes in Cuddalore overnight. The rain has poured down. Many more areas were submerged. More than a hundred houses were damaged in the rain. Trees are uprooted in more than 150 places. On the third day the power was cut off and all areas in Nilgiris were plunged into darkness.
