Barisan Nasional has won the Slim by-election with a landslide victory. Election Commission returning officer Shamsul Ridzuan Idris announced on Saturday that Mohd Zaidi Aziz of Barisan Nasional received 13,060 votes, while Amir Khusyairi Mohamad Tanusi, who is representing the yet-to-be registered Parti Pejuang Tanahair, received 2,115 votes.
