CURSED Season 2 in question after many negative reviews for new Netflix Original fantasy series

Hey, guys! The new July release from Netflix, fantasy drama series Cursed could have every chance to quickly get renewed for Season 2. First of all, this female-fronted reimagining of the King Arthur legend is based on the bestselling graphic novel written by Thomas Wheeler and illustrated by Frank Miller. The novel became an instant hit last year and Netflix immediately put the show in production. Secondly, the show features a diverse, talented and beautiful cast that should have worked very well together, led by gorgeous Katherine Langford, who many of you probably remember from another Netflix hit series 13 Reasons Why. Finally, the genre of fantasy drama typically manages to attract a very wide audience since it appeals to various ages and taste levels. However, the first reviews are very mixed. While critics rated Cursed highly with an impressive 93% approval on Rotten Tomatoes, on IMDb the show has the score of only 5.9 from viewers, who seemed to find too many weak points in it. The first season has been criticized for poor acting, with an exception of Gustaf Skarsgård who plays Merlin. Other negative reviews noted that Cursed failed to find a balance between a romantic storyline and a die-hard fantasy, appealing mostly to younger audiences. Anyway, we believe that Netflix will do its homework and give the show a second chance, so stay tuned for news on Cursed Season 2. Do you, guys, think the show should get renewed?
