CCTV फुटेज में साफ तौर पर देखा जा सकता है कि उसने किस तरह से अपराधी का पीछा किया. कुसुम अकेले सड़क पर जा रही थी. तब ही अचानक पीछे से एक बाइक पर दो लोग सवार होकर आए. पीछे बैठा बाइक सवार लड़की का मोबाइल फोन छीनकर भागने की कोशिश करने लगा.
