Researchers at the National University of Singapore have developed an AI device that conveys a sense of touch, allowing users to identify objects, textures and even read Braille letters. The device called ACES (Asynchronous Coded Electronic Skin) was created by a research team led by Dr Benjamin Tee from the university’s Department of Materials Science and Engineering.
